L'Embrunnais is surrounded in the North by le Champsaur, in the West by le Gapençais, in the South by Haute-Provence Alps and in the East by le Pays du Guil and le Queyras. This area consists of a large part of Durance valley and high green traditional valleys. L'Embrunnais is one of the sunniest and dryest places in the Hautes-Alpes.
