This island town on the plains of the Vaucluse is tinted the colour of clear water.
The river Sorgue wraps itself around the town, providing canal paths through the narrow streets, and pretty little bridges, for many an afternoon walk. Don't miss the "Partage des eaux" 1 km from the town where the river splits at a pleasant shady spot with ancient plain trees. Isle sur la Sorgue is sometimes called "la Venise Comtadine".
Environment : House on the edge of the village, close to amenities, the town was built in the XII Century, raised up from the water, now with numerous canals that run through and surround it.
