A genuine village to be discovered in green mountain setting. With its country cottages, its cross-country skiing tracks and a gondola carrier connecting the village in 7 mn to the field of La Plagne, Champagny combines natural, tradition and great skiing.
The baroque church ST SIGISMOND is built on a hillock of gypsum at Champagny le Bas. It conceals some fine treasures, two retables and a magnificent glory beam.
