'Caron', with lift and guardian, is situated on the piste in the Preyrand quarter. Shops (superette, restaurant, sports shop) and ski pass ticket office nearby. Liaison with the main quarter, the Croisette, by free telebenne from 8h to 23h.

LES MENUIRES - altitude : 1850 m
The wide open spaces of Les 3 Vallées, the biggest ski area in the world with over 600 kms of pistes and 200 ski lifts.

The diversity of the pistes and itineraries is huge, as it that of the sporting and discovery activities available. Skiing, of course, can be done in all forms: the pistes are on your doorstep, and beginners also have areas especially reserved for them.

Snowboarders benefit from a snow park and fabulous powder itineraries can be discovered accompanied by a professional. As for children, they are spoilt in the "villages", which welcome them from 3 months and over.

As well as skiing, you can go walking on foot or with snowshoes, swimming or ice-skating, discover the patrimony of the nearby villages or listen to classical concerts programmed in the evening. While resting loyal at its warm yet functional image, the resort of Les Menuires now unveils a new architectural landscape, composed of chalets and up market residences, linking the tradition of stone and wood.

Ski area

Les Menuires offer a various ski area with three complementary areas (all accessible with Les Menuires ski pass) :


- The Mont de la Chambre area, offers many lifts and long trails above the resort. To go on the top of The Mont de la Chambre, use, from Les Bruyères, the "Bruyères" cable car, from La Croisette, the "Mont de la Chambre" cable car. This ski area opens you the doors of Val Thorens and the 3 Vallées.


- The Masse area, well exposed, toward the resort offers the best snow and an incomparable panorama on the Alps, from the South to the North. From La Croisette, use the skiers bridge and from Reberty follow the "Reberty" basket lift to acces tothis ski area.


- The Grangerais and Saint Martin area offer wide open spaces and a slope to the authentic alpine village of Saint Martin. This area connect you also with the 3 Vallées and Méribel.
